Novi Zagreb (New Zagreb) – West
The district includes the following densely populated residential quarters: Lanište, Kajzerica, Remetinec, Siget, Savski gaj, Trnsko, Trokut and less urbanized units Blato, Botinec, Podbrežje, Tromostovlje and Sveta Klara.
Sub-urban units within the district are Donji Čehi, Gornji Čehi, Hrašće Turopoljsko, Hrvatski Leskovac, Ježdovec, Lučko, Mala Mlaka, Odra.
The district can be divided into urban, highly-urban western part of New Zagreb, and individual residential quarters on the edge of the area of this city district.
The district is famous for Zagreb Fair, Hippodrome, sports hall Arena Zagreb and shopping malls Arena Centar and Avenue Mall.
Two major roads (avenues) pass through the district: Jadranska avenija and Avenija Dubrovnik. Bridges Jadranski most and Most slobode are located at the edge of the district, connecting it with the old part of the City, and another large avenue passes through this district, Avenija Većeslava Holjevca, which represents a border between the district and New Zagreb - East area.
