Trešnjevka – North
The district Trešnjevka covers the part of Zagreb south of the railway line, north of Ljubljanska avenija and Zagrebačka avenija, and between the streets Savska cesta and Zagrebačka cesta. City blocks dominate in the east part, and narrow streets with densely populated houses in the west.
The district consists of two separate residence units, Voltino naselje and Rudeš., and it is the centre of Zagreb's sports symbols such as the Hall of Dražen Petrović (Cibona Tower, which in part is also a business tower), Dom sportova, Kutija šibica and Football Stadium Kranjčević.
Market place at Trešnjevka is one of the most favoured among Zagreb citizens.
District Trešnjevka is only 15 minutes away from Ban Jelačić Square.
